Antigo has a teacher up for America’s Favorite Teacher Awards

WAUSAU, Wis. (WXCO) – A local high school special education teacher, Kelly Kohler is in the race to win big, here’s how to help her.
Kelly Kohler, an Antigo High School special education teacher has made it to the quarter finals for America’s Favorite Teacher. As of May 9th, she’s in 1st place out of 12.
If Kohler winds, she has the chance to appear in Reader’s Digest, win a trip to Hawaii and earn $25,000.
Kohler used to walk the halls herself of Antigo High School. Saying she is proud to help in the town she grew up in. Using creative ways to help her students be successful, she’s even know to give a few sweet treats away… like Kwik Trip dunkers if they do well.
Voting for local Kelly Kohler ends on Thursday, May 16th.
