(Veteran)  Daniel Frank Timm

age 88, of Butternut, died on Monday March 21, 2016 at his home under the care of Flambeau Home Health and Hospice and his friend Kenny Zilinger.  He was born on December 6, 1927 in the Town of Lake, the son of Frank Daniel and Lydia Marie (Behm) Timm.  Daniel was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Korea.  He was a farmer, a logger, and worked at Birdseye Veneer.  Daniel was a member of the Butternut American Legion Post and a friend to many.

 

He is survived by many friends and was preceded in death by his parents and a brother and a sister.

 

A memorial service will be held on Monday March 28, 2016 at 11:00am from St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Butternut.  Rev. John A. Deitz will officiate.

 

Military honors will follow under the auspices of the Butternut American Legion Post.

 

A gathering of family and friends will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
