Alene “Trudi” V. Schrader, 80

Alene  “Tudi” V. Schrader, age 80 passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 8, 2022 in Wausau.  She was born on April 24, 1941 in Park Falls, the daughter of Lee and Verna Behreandt.  On September 6, 1961 she married Edward Schrader in Park Falls.  Alene worked  at Park Falls Memorial Hospital in Park Falls for 30 plus years as a housekeeper.  She was known for her role as Mrs. Claus, which was her lifelong passion for making children and adults happy and keeping the Christmas spirit alive with her husband, Santa Claus.

 

She was survived by:

Special great-granddaughter Kynslee who was there to play games, talk, and just hang out with her great-grandma and also great-grandson Elias.  Step-grandchildren, Dominic, Nathalie, Vanessa, and Carson.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, her parents Lee and Verna (Kundinger) Behreandt, mother-in-law Florence Hilgart and father-in-law Richard Hilgart and sister-in-law Lorraine Marsh.

 

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday January 22, 2022 at 11:00am at the Birch Street Funeral Service Chapel in Park Falls.  Pastor Mike Fox will officiate.

 

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
